How do I return an item?

Please review our returns policy before starting a return or exchange. All return requests are handled further down this page. Please email support@shop-orthopedics.com or call 855-618-5610 if you require additional assistance. Please have your order # handy when contacting us.

Return Policy:

Shop-Orthopedics.com provides the highest quality products available and want to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return an item. Refunds can take up to 2 weeks to process. We do not charge restocking fees*. In most instances we do not refund shipping charges.

It is the customer's responsibility to pay for return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part. All returns are shipped using UPS at our discounted negotiated rate. We cannot guarantee the sizing of an item. The sizing indicated on our website come directly from the manufacturer recommended sizing guidelines. Please make sure the sizing is correct before ordering your product.

Due to manufacturer policies or FDA reasons beyond our control, we cannot accept returns of certain items, including:

  • Any item that is not in its original condition, damaged, altered, missing parts or packaging material
  • Opened items that are labeled sterile
  • Used Foot Orthotics, Electrodes (Tens), Raised Toilet Seats, Wound Dressings and Cold Therapy Pads
  • Any used item containing hair, blood, sweat, stains or other miscellaneous fluids
  • Clothing that has been washed or missing original tags

*Exclusions: Due to manufacturer policy DonJoy and Hely Weber orders are subject to a 15% restock fee.

All returns are subject to inspection and approval, additional fees may apply to returns that do not match the return reason. Returns or exchange requests from outside of the United States cannot be honored.


Exchanges:

Exchanges will be processed after the original order is received using the same shipping method as the original order. To expedite the process, you may place a new order so that everything is processed in parallel. Your original order will be fully refunded once received back into our warehouse.


Warranty Information:

All warranty issues beyond our standard return policy above are handled by the manufacturer and at their discretion. Please contact us for further information regarding a warranty issue past 30 days.
