I used this when visiting friends and after using it for just a few minutes the numbness, tingling and pain diminished. Repeating the process one additional time and it was gone completely and I was able to sleep that night without pain. Ordered one as soon as I got home! Hopefully this will prevent me from having to have another neck discectomy and fusion.

I wish I had known there were contraindications to its use. I have mild scoliosis and not sure if it is appropriate. Also it really needs to be set up with a PT and a rehab protocol.

As another review mentioned, cervical decompression with a chiropractor gets expensive. Mine suggested I look into this kind of unit for tune-ups between visits. The price was reasonable and the warranty eased concerns. A pamphlet suggests asking a professional for adjustment guidance but what would have helped, also, is timing guide. Otherwise, this is a well-designed well-made device.

I love this and it helps soo much but why the heck don't they make replacement head straps! They wear out and I'm not buying another 400 dollar machine just for the head strap!

I like this product better than the Saunders loaner unit from the PT office. The pump mechanism is easier to use, with a button to push to let out the air instead of the requirement to turn a dial. I wish that it had not arrived with a zip tie tightly around the air pump tubing. It was very difficult to figure out how to cut the zip tie without damaging the tubing. I also had to return to the PT office to get their help in determining the best width setting for the neck parts, but that was not a problem. Seems a bit lighter in weight than the Saunders unit but should hold up OK. Would recommend this unit but I suggest new instructions.

Since neck traction costs a considerable amount at the chiropractor, he advised I purchase a product like this one. I chose this model in part because it came with a guarantee. It's well-made, sturdy, easy to assemble and use, and effective. It works with an air pump and holds the air nicely. My chiropractor was impressed, and I am too!

I have a lot of cervical spine issues and thought this product would provide consistent traction. I did not find this product very comfortable even when using the pads. Unfortunately I returned to this.

This is just like the one I used from physical therapy. Not sure the negative reviews concerning the head-strap. It has been working just fine for me. I especially the incline feature allowing different positioning. Sometimes I like it to be flatter towards the floor and sometimes it feels better raised. Great little machine with a nice storage bag.

Recommended by my doctor. Equipment person at doctor's office admitted that this device, the same at PT office used, was better than device they sold made of plastic. More durable you can visibly see. This is metal and lasts. Has helped with healing from cervical disc issues and made for less pain. PT showed me how to use. Highly recommend if needed, especially with coupon with purchase.
