Selecting the most appropriate sling is important to ensure that it is suitable for the patient/resident, for the type of transfer required and compatible with the lift being used. The use of patient handling equipment such as mechanical lifts with the appropriate sling is a core component of a safe patient handling program.

This sling is intended for assisted transfer of passive patients/residents with limited ability to move and require full support during transfer.

The sling is used together with passive lifting devices to transfer patients in a seated/semi-reclined position to and from the bed, chair, wheelchair or hygiene device during care activities and from the floor. The mesh material allows water to pass easily through the sling.

This sling should only be used together with Arjo passive lift systems (loop attachment) in accordance with the allowed combinations page on the specified section of the Instructions for Use.
